Garmn c340 Touch Screen Recalibration

Had a problem with my C340, the touchscreen was not responding to the place I pushed, it responded 1/2 to 1 inch away. This made operating the unit VERY frustrating. I found on page 28 in the manual ( http://www8.garmin.com/manuals/StreetPilotc340_OwnersManual.pdf ) that if you turn the unit off, and then press&hold the power button for about a minute the calibration screen appears. VIOLA! Just recalibrate the screen following the onscreen instructions, and I am good to go!
