I just spoke to Panasonic Tech Support about the LED screen being blank. FYI its blank on both my handsets - one which I never even use. He made me do a few button presses, etc but nothing worked. So he tells me I have a "loose connection on the LED" so I must have dropped the phone or something. I said NO, I never dropped the phone, and one of the handsets I never even used - and its happening on that one too. So bottom line you have to take it to a Panasonic repair center at your own expense if its over the one year warranty - for what I personally think is a flaw on their phone design. I think after so much time the LED screen just goes away...since its happening on both handsets, and neither of them were dropped. Its a shame because the phone works fine, but I need the LED screen for the mute button, etc. So my solution for you is to stay away from Panasonic phones and the lame customer support, and go buy a different brand.
