I have an 20.0 IR EchoStar Technologies L.L.C 155681. For some reason the input button is not working. Whenever I press the TV button and press input it doesn't work. Does anyone know what the problem is?

I have listed the steps below to address the remote to your TV! I have also included the top 5 codes that work in case they are needed.

Codes: 500, 837, 627, 090, 185

1.) Press and hold the clear TV button until all mode lights light up.
2.) Release and TV light will be blinking.
3.) Enter the code and press #. The TV button should flash 3 times.
4.) Try functions (Volume, Power, etc..) and see if it is working.
5.) If no function, repeat steps 1-4 with another code.

I will list here for you the best codes for a Vizio TV that would work with a 5.3 IR remote and the instructions for addressing your remote to your TV. 5.3 IR remote - 505, 506, 627, 593, 500.

Instructions for addressing the remote to the TV
1. Press and hold down the TV mode button until all other mode buttons light up red.
2. Enter the 3 digit code for your TV.
3. Press the pound button once.
4. Try the TV functions.

Allow me to help you with that, brandonmanvi! To get that programmed, go through the following steps, which will make both the TV and receiver respond to any remote control command:

1. With the desired equipment on, press and hold the correct Mode button until all mode button backlights illuminate, then release.
2. Press and release the Power button. AUX Mode: Before pressing and releasing the Power button
   • Press 0 for a TV
   • Press 1 for a VCR/DVD
   • Press 2 for any other device
   Then Press STAR (*)
3. Press the Up button once a second while pointing the remote at the desired equipment. Note: If the code for the equipment comes up, the equipment will power off.
4. Press the POUND (#) button. Note: If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times.

Unplug the satelite box and replug it back like about an hour later.By letting the box resetting and upgrading it softwares the remote should work again now.

Normally when your channels change on its own, you may have a neighbor who also has DISH Network with both remotes (yours and theirs) having the same remote addresses. We would readdress the remote to the receiver giving your remote a new address. Since the remote is also draining batteries, this indicates the remote is not functioning correctly. Please call 1-800-333-3474, talk with Technical Support; we need to replace your remote. I hope this helps.

On your dish remote, press and hold the tv button until all 4 buttons light up, then release. push either of the power buttons once. Now start pushing the down channel button, It's the one right below select, continue pushing it until tv turns off. When tv goes off push down button one more time then push up button, when tv turns back on stop and press # key, tv light will flash 3 times and should be set. Note....if u press down button and tv does not turn off after going through all codes( tv light will start flashing) press cancel and try again only channel up this time. hope this helps.

to set remote to tv
1)hold down tv button next to sat button in top left corner
2) when all buttons illuminate press 500 into remote
3)press pound sign
4)Hello, please help..
5)hold town tv button again.
6)when all buttons illuminate press big red power button
7)press up arrow once a second until tv shuts off
8)press # pound sign
9)try to turn tv back on w/ big red power button
10)if tv doesnt turn back on try again from step 2 but use down arrow instead

to set remote to receiver you need to access system info, if there is no sys info button on your receiver turn power off and press the up arrow, then press record 2 times on the remote,
