My frigidaire FRS23R4A is a side by side model. The freezer works fine but the refrigerator does not get cold enough. The water dispensor no longer works also. Does this sound like a problem in the defrost or condensor system?

THERE IS A FAN THAT BLOWS THE COLD AIR TO THE FRIG SIDE!

Pour about 1/2 cup of water into ice maker . If it dumps , replace the water valve . If doesn't dump , replace the ice maker . Also make sure the coils are clean of dust , lint , etc...thumbs up

Change the water filter if it is 4 to 6 months old.

If the fan located next to the compresor works that means that the compresor relay is bad or the compresor burned out.

first check your gas pressor if that is fine check the pressor switch and if that is fine check the cappasetor or compressor

sounds as if perhaps theres a fan in the freezer, copartment that is not spinning, circulating the cold air around, or if that fan is spinning you have adefost issue,not "self defrosting so the ice is building up preventing proper circulation

you have prime the system air out of the water lines this is easy to do
put a glass big enough to cover water dispensor outlet cause its going to project water out at you press and hold button till water starts to run smooth
these fridges will spit water at you when you prime the system at first cause theres air blockage in lines

sounds like the evaputaor fan motor.. may need to replace.. check to see if anything maybe hitting fan blades
