Nokia C200 power button not working

If the power button on your Nokia C200 is not working, there are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check for physical damage: If the power button is damaged or broken, it may not function properly. Inspect the button for any visible damage or debris that may be preventing it from working.
  2. Clean the button: If the power button is stuck or not responding, it may be due to dirt or debris lodged in the button. Use a small brush or toothbrush to gently clean around the button and see if this resolves the issue.
  3. Check the button connections: If the power button is not working properly, it may be due to a loose connection or malfunctioning component. Check the connections between the power button and the rest of the device to make sure they are secure.
  4. Reset the device: If the power button is still not working after trying the above steps, you may want to try resetting the device to its factory settings. To do this, go to "Settings," then "Backup and reset" and select "Factory data reset."

Canon Pixma MP160 stopped working, showing E 2 - paper is not jammed - Printer is NOT hooked up to a computer - only used for scan and print in farm shop (heated) - suggestions? It is an oldie but a...

First thing to try is pressing the "Stop/Reset" button. If that doesn't work, hold it down for more than 10 seconds and release. If that doesn't work try turning off the printer, unplug the power cord for more than 10 seconds then reconnect and turn the printer on again.
If the printer was connected to a computer, there might be more information provided about the source of the problem. Otherwise, a last resort would be to reset the printer. Follow this exactly:
  1. Turn off the printer (using "Power" button) but leave it plugged into the wall socket.
  2. Press and hold the "Stop/Reset" button (red circle in the triangle), and without releasing the "Stop/Reset" button, press and hold the "Power" button (indicator light shows green).
  3. While holding down the "Power" button, release the "Stop/Reset" button.
  4. Continue holding down the "Power" button, double click the "Reset" button and release the "Power" button.
  5. Click the "Stop/Reset" button four times
  6. Press the "Power" button to confirm and turn the printer off. Turn printer on again.

Error 5800 on Canon Pixma MP170

Solution #1 worked with my MP170 but it could be described more clearly, as follows:-

1. If the power is on, turn it off (press the on/off button).

2. Hold down the stop/reset button (red triangle in red circle).

3. Whilst still holding down the stop/reset button, hold down the on/off button.

4. Whilst still holding down the on/off button, release the stop/reset button.

5. Now press the stop/reset button twice, quickly.

6. Next release the on/off button.

7. Wait untill the LCD display shows “Canon idle” (this may take a few minutes).

8. Now push the stop/reset button 4 times in succession, quickly.

9. Press the on/off button twice, quickly.

10. Now press the on/off button to switch the power off.

11. Finally, press the on/off button to switch the power back on.

This sets the ink pad counter to zero, even though the pad still contains ink.

Remove ink from the pad, as follows:-

Open the lid of the printer to reveal the cartridge track and ink pad.

Winkle out the ink pad, using a pin or a small screwdriver or tweezers.

Wash the ink pad in clean water, squashing the pad to remove the ink.

Dry the clean pad by squashing it between sheets of kitchen paper.

Replace the pad, taking care to fit it between the alignment notches.

Amen!
