TURN ONTHE TV
HOLDING DOWN THE TV ANDTHEON/OFF BUTTON ATTHE SAME TIME.UNTILTHEON/OFF BUTTON STAYED ILLUMINATED.
PRESS THE PLAYBUTTON IT WILL BLINK,IF TV DOES NOT GO OFF PRESS PLAY EVERY 5 SECONDS UNTIL TV GOES OFF.
ONCE TV TURNS OFF HIT THE REVERSE BUTTON THE TV WILL COME BACK ON.
HIT THE STOP BUTTON TO SAVE THE CODE.
REPEAT THIS BUT HOLD THE OTHER DESIRED DEVICE INSTEAD OF THE TV.

Igotthisinfo from google....then typed in rca universal remote...there was a sight for programming remote.
If the front panel lock is on, you will need a working original remote (or a universal remote properly programmed for RCA) to turn the set on. The IR receiver is next to the buttons on the fromt but the RCA IR receivers are very reliable, and I have yet to see a bad one in a modern RCA TV. Once you turn the set on by remote, you can enter the menu and turn the FPA off.
