The instructions will help quite a lot right now:

1) Typical Timex manual says to re-set timer, press MODE and PROG buttons together.
Compare this information with your instructions.

2) Look on instruction sheet for timer model number, and then add a comment with your model number so I can identify timer manual and possibly post answer that fits your product.

3) Look on instruction sheet for company information.
Timex timers come with standard 1 year limited warranty:
Following phone might work: 1-800-919-3101

4) Scan your instruction sheet into jpg format and then add a comment with link to that jpg, then I can give you best answer for that specific timer.

5) Buy another timer, and return broken timer in new package.

6) Use circuit analyzer to test outlet for line noise and ground fault that affect timer electronics.

7) Buy another brand of timer altogether:

Buy another Brinks from Walmart and return defect in new package.

How do I charge timex digital timer 12/874

Copy following link to identify timer and download possible manual:

2) Usually you plug timer into outlet for 1/2 hour to charge internal non-replaceable battery. Other timers have replaceable battery. Always reset timer before programming. If timer display does not show with charged, or new, battery, then try timer on different outlet, and/or replace timer.
3) If timer does not show on link above, add comment and include photo or clear description of timer.

I have a timer TX12674T im trying to reset the time by holding time and hour the screen resets itself to 12:00 any combination will rest the screen. what to do?

Timer is not identified.
My files, and web search do not show TX12674T timer, Aug 2011.

1) Add a comment with in-focus photo of your timer posted on flickr for possible identification.

2) I don't have repair for defective timer: What does your instruction manual say? Did timer work before and stop working? Are you using timer for correct Load? Try timer on different outlet and with different Load. Test outlet with circuit analyzer. Timers usually come with 1 year limited warranty.

3) Maybe you have TX12874X. This timer is reset by holding down Hour and Minute button.

4) Open following link to identify timer and download possible manual:

I have a model #Te111(TX12677T), I am having a problem with programming this Timex light timer. I can get the time on, however when I try to program each day it will not hold it's memory. Help ...

Open following link to identify timer and download manual:
If the manual does not match product, then add a comment with clear description of timer and what you have done so far to set timer so I can see problem clearly.
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/How-to-program-Timex-TE111.pdf
http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html#Timex

If timer will not hold programming, then try resetting timer if it has a reset button.
If timer has battery, remove battery and replace with new battery, and try resetting timer in that manner.
If functionality is not restored, then move timer to different outlet and connect to different lamp.
And always test outlet with cheap circuit analyzer from home center.
Outlets that are out of code can affect electronics including timers.
If outlet checks out, then timer is probably defective.
Most timers have 1 year limited warranty.

Intermatic DT620 has limited lifetime warranty and might be better value long-term

Lost instructions for TE109 appliance timex timer.\r\nCan you help? Thank You & Merry Christmas

    • Plug your Timex seven day timer into a standard electrical outlet. Allow the timer's rechargeable battery to charge for at least 10 minutes before attempting to program the appliance; the battery will serve as a backup power source to prevent your custom programmed settings from being lost in the event the timer is unplugged or the power goes out.

    • Press the depressed "RST" button on the timer with the tip of a ballpoint pen to reset the timer's internal memory.
  • To Set the time on your Timex timer. Press and hold the "Set" button for three seconds or until the day-of-week indicator begins to flash. Press the "->" or "<-" button repeatedly until the desired day appears on the digital display; press "Set." Use the "->" or "<-" buttons to set the hours when they begin to flash; press "Set" when the desired hour is shown. Use the same process to set the minutes, then press the "Set" button again to confirm the day and time settings.

    • To Program a start time for your seven day timer. Press the ">" button to access the appliance's programming mode; the program number will begin to flash. Use the "->" and "<-" buttons to highlight the desired program number, then press "Set." Highlight the desired day and press "Set" again. Program the hour for your timer; press "Set." Set the minute and press the "Set" button to confirm.
    • wait for the timer to go back to std mode (like 10 seconds)

To program a stop time for your timer. Press the "Set" button to cause the day-of-week indicator to flash. Highlight the desired day and press "Set" to confirm. Adjust the timer's hour with the "->" and <-" buttons; press "Set" when the desired hour is shown. Set the minute for your timer and press the "Set" button again. Press the "Time" button to exit the setting mode.
