Having noise means some obstruction near the rotating tray or its motor need some lubricant. Has for no cook but control seems working, the magnetron and its fuses is the culprit because it doesn't anymore produce heat to cook food.
I hope that advice help you.

Panasonic microwave nn-s963bf making grinding noise

The turntable system consists of the motor, the coupler, the turntable support with rollers, and the tray.

You can see and hear a video of how a turntable motor should sound when you rotate it by hand.

If yours is not set to be off via the control panel, and it won't rotate or it sounds like it's grinding, etc., you may have a bad motor or plastic coupler.

To replace either, you need to unplug power, then remove the bottom cover of the oven.

You can
order parts for this brand from Encompass (formerly Tritronics). Or you can call them toll-free at 866-779-5835.

You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

There should also be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

Not working

When the microwave sounds okay, but there's no heat, one of the internal door switches, the high voltage circuitry, or the circuit board may have a problem. To resolve this problem, you need the assistance of a qualified appliance repair technician, as repairing microwaves is a pretty risky job.

Rotating ring/ Glide tray comes off the track -Elite Model 80803

Take your round glass tray and plastic three wheeled hoop to a local Sears store, open up the microwaves on display, find the one that is still using something similar, deftly trade out yours for theirs. The new wheeled plastic hoop wheels are slightly bigger and the glass tray raised guides are a bit longer, since the switch no problems like I had. Don't get caught. They do not have those parts for sale at the local Sears store.
