The information I found was based on a unit I have M/N SA2286 and a secondary M/N SE46-185B-E. The latter M/N appears to be a Witt model number. See link: http://www.hillphoenix.com/tyler/mechanical/witt_superflo_411.pdf

What is causing Scotsman icemaker to moan

perhaps it's unhappy? I can't say i blame it, if I had to sit there all day in the freezing cold making ice I would moan too.
here's a list of possible problems
If it makes excessive noise:-
Problem and Likely Causes/ Probable Solutions

Fan blade vibrates Blade is bent Replace fan blade

Fan motor mount is broken Replace motor mount

Compressor vibrates Mounting loose Check mounting

Water pump vibrates Pump bearings worn Replace pump

Panels vibrate Mounting screws loose Tighten screws

and ice can groan as it expands, but that only applies to large icebergs

How To Replace Relay On True T-72 Reachin

If it's mounted inside a box along with the capacitors there is 1 screw holding it from the back. Often you have to unmount the box from the compressor to access the screw.

Have a True Freezer. It will kick on but when shutting down it shakes like crazy

This can be due to poor mounting of teh compressor. If the freezer is old then the mounting bushes can be worn out and must be replaced. Also check on the mounting bolts as if these are loosely fitted the compressor will ******** moe specially when the motor stops due to the force.

I need a compressor fan for a model 406-995 .where can I get one?

I had the same problem, and the local repair places could not find an exact replacement part, one of the repair shops had a fan from another unit and i just swapped the mounting bracket and wired it in.

The motor in my freezer makes a very loud noise and sounds like it is trying to start, it takes a few seconds before it stops the noise, then starts running the freezer.

That's usually mounts inside the compressor. It could still last awhile so if you can put up with the noise just wait for it to quit before replacing the compressor or getting a new fridge.

Hi, freezer is cold at bottom , circulating fan is not working.

Hi Guys, I tested fan removed(to 240vlts) neg- pos to wires+earth to mount bracket, and found to be working, reinstalled and found power - active to both wires??fan cut out (defrost mode)activated by timer control, my timer control ( bottom rear near motor) has a knob, so i turned it and fan started, continous turning knob ran thru all cycles defrost, fan start, etc: obviously timer control was faulty, To save frozen goods , i set control to run and installed a power point timer to cycle freezer till new switch arrives, taking the place of faulty controller...

Everything seems to be workin but i have a wierd noise coming from inside the freezer

The evaporator fan is behind the rear cover inside the freezer. It could be hitting ice or the mounting bracket.

Maytag upright freezer model MQU1556AEW

I experienced the same problem last week with my freezer. Apparently the change in temperature during defrosting allows the blade locking mechanism to slide on the motor shaft during the spinning operation. The blade pulls itself along the shaft until it comes in contact with the motor mounting bolt. If your freezer just stops getting super cold, but remains cool and you don't hear the fan spinning, remove the inside back panel and check the fan blades for freedom of movement. I almost disposed of the freezer this past week but decided to make one last check of the mechanisms.

Potential relay mounting diretion

possibly to avoid the possibility of water pooling on top of it and thus allowing the water to seep inside of the relay and kill it.
