Hello there im having problems with my kenmore gas dryer it only works for 5-10min then over heats and shuts off the flow of gas as i can see the burner trying to re-ignite the heater inside when it cools below what it should be. i believe the problem is connected to one of the sensors but im not sure which one as there appear to be two one is beside the heating chamber which senses light of flame size im not too sure though, and the other is right in the flame I am under the imprssion that this is the heat sensor. was wonder if you could reccomend which part should be replaced as the dryer itself is still in good condition otherwise. thanks

This sounds more like the dryer coils are failing. They tend to fail as they heat up. They are inexpensive and easy to replace. Here is a link that should help Replacing the dryer coils If you are sure it is overheating this would be the cycling thermostat that would be the problem. It is unlikely that it is overheating. The only way to check for overheating is by placing a thermostat inside the dryer. Most run around 165-195 f depending on the heat setting selected. Your gas valve coils are defective.
Once they get hot,the resistance changes and does not allow them to remain on or reset.
Change out the gas valve coils.
