Heart rate is off, how do you turn it back on.

Press the bottom metal sensor until the display flashes. Says its best to use the "flat pads" of your finer and not the tips.

Press and hold the reset button, for 5 seconds, while in Time mode. the heart monitor will reset and the symbol reappear on the screen

How do I turn the Heart Rate function on and off on my watch? Within the Date and Time screen, if the heart icon is showing, the heart rate function is on. To turn off the heart rate function, simply hold the Reset button until the heart icon goes away.

In checking out information about my new S7 ECG Heart Rate Watch, I noticed your posting. There is a Sportline website that enables you to down the product manual.... although I'm not sure it pertains to the S7. If this doesn't work, I'm sure there is a manual included with the watch I just received, and I'd be happy to email to you. Make sure the back of the watch is spotless and your skin isn't too dry.

It sounds like most of you have the heart rate set to display in % of max heart rate. Most Polar products have the option of heart rate in BPM(beats per minute) or percentage of max.

If you look at the display during the exercise, you will see a % icon. You can turn it off in by hitting the back button and go down to HR view settings.

Make sure the sound is turned on the unit. Press and hold the lower left button for a few seconds and you should see a little Sirus like pic on your watch. If you have that and no sound then you have a problem. Maybe try taking the battery out and reinstalling after a few minutes. If nothing works then your choice would be to send the watch to get repaired or live with it. The heart rate does flash if you are under or over your target rates. Good luck
