I cannot find the ink for printer bother MFC-215C in Cairo, Egypt. Please tell me where to find and its price?

did you check the ink cartridge of your printer maybe the Red or magenta color is already finish.

The ink blotter in the bottom of the machine is full, this is a built-in redundancy. Machine needs to be completely stripped to replace this.

Buy another brand next time.

Solution applies to MFC-5440CN but also applies to MFC-215C.

take out the printer cartige and clean it with a wet alcohol cloth and make sure no ink clots on it.
place it properly in the cartige holder.

Hi, I had the same problem and found the answer from one website. Heres how you can fix it
1) Open the cover
2) Remove the empty cartridge
3) Close the cover without putting in the new cartridge
4) Open the cover and install the new cartridge
5) Close the cover and restart the printer (press power save to shut down and press it again to turn it on

It should go into cleaning and when you check the Ink Status monitor, it will detect that the ink is full.:) Hope this helps, it worked for me
