Copy and paste the above link into your browser's address bar and scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page. On the right hand side is a button that will allow you to automatically update the software for your Zen Stone. If that does not resolve your issue, the last link on that very same page, Starter Pack 1.51.03, his starter pack is updated with the latest software and User's Guide for your Creative ZEN® Stone player and Creative ZEN Stone player (with built-in Speaker). It enables you to drag audio files to and from your player using Creative Media Lite. For more details, read the rest of this Web release note. The starter pack can also be found at www.creative.com/zenstone, and it includes the following:
  • Creative Media Lite (1.51.03)
Rips CDs, transfers media files and controls your player's volume restriction level.
  • User's Guide
Provides information on using your player.
Added Features or Enhancements:
  • Enables you to drag audio files to and from your player using Creative Media Lite.
  • Adds an audio playback feature in the Creative Media Lite window.
  • Enables the conversion of unreadable tag properties of audio files in Creative Media Lite.
Requirements:
  • Microsoft® Windows Vista®, Windows® XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later
  • USB port
  • Creative ZEN Stone or Creative ZEN Stone (with built-in Speaker)
Note:
  • To install this starter pack
    1. Download the ZENStone_PCApp_CLI_L4_1_51_03.exe file into your local hard disk.
    2. Close all application windows that are currently running.
Double-click the downloaded file and follow the instructions on the screen. That should resolve any issues you have by not have the original Start up Disk!

Hi,
You can use iTunes or iMesh instead for creating a playlist and moving files, but first you will need to copy all the audio files you have from your MP3 player to your computer then use either one of the 2 software I mentioned to sync your audio onto your MP3 PLayer.
Also make sure that the Firmware of your Zen is up to date.
I hope this helps.

I need help in downloading music to my MP3 player. I have a Creative Zen Vplus

Hi
According to Creative Labs, you should either be using the Creative Media Explorer if you are new to MP3 and WMA ripping and want to build up a library or prefer to manage your Zen player as a removable disk drive, or using the Creative MediaSource Player/Organizer if you "frequently need to playback or organize music in your computer".
The Zen player can handle three primary types of audio files too, the common MP3 format, WMA format and the more unusual WAV format. It's quite likely that your existing audio files are in one of these formats, probably WMA if you've been using Windows Media Player to rip your CDs. If you've purchased your music, it'll be in WMA DRM, that is, a version of the WMA format that includes digital rights management (so you can't just email a copy of the audio file to your pals once you've purchased and downloaded it). Those can play on the Creative Zen too, fortunately.
To actually hook up your Creative Zen MP3 player to your computer, you'll need the included USB cable, which should connect as shown in this spiffo Creative illustration:
http://www.askdavetaylor.com/0-blog-pics/creative-zen-audio-usb.png (chek the above figure)
Once you've hooked it up, the Zen unit should automatically go into USB connection mode (wouldn't be very zen-like if it didn't!) and then you should be able to find the device by opening up My Computer on your desktop.
When you really dig into the Zen user's guides, you'll find that they recommend Creative Media Explorer for transfering audio files: just click on the "Import Media" button in the application, find the MP3, WAV or WMA files already on your computer, and it should be easy to then copy them onto the player.
That should get you going.

I copied cd audio files onto mp3 player and need to change to a audio type that is supoerted

First of all you have to RIP your files from Audio Disc. To do that you can use Windows Media Player. Start Windows Media Player, in top of the screen you should have a button " RIP ", click it. Click Start and then you cand find the files by default in My Music folder from My Documents. Then copy the Ripped Files to the MP3 player. This work only if your mp3 player supports wma files if not try to download Audio Grabber ( http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/download.html ) to RIP files from Audio cd in mp3 format. After you ripped the files copy them to mp3 player.

Cant get videos on my Creative Zen Mozaic 4gb

The videos have to be converted using Creative Centrale in order to placed on the player. This was the same way with a lot of Creative's Zen line of players also.
If you don't have the copy that the Mosaic came with, you can download it here.
http://support.creative.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?catID=213&CatName=MP3+Players&subCatID=214&subCatName=ZEN&prodID=17897&prodName=ZEN+Mozaic

It is under the "Applications" section.

CREATIVE CENTRALE FOR 32GB XFI MP3 PLAYER loading in my computer but cannot acces it downlaoded it form the website still same problem Restarted computer and problem persists

You don't need Creative's software to load music to your MP3 player
Use FreeRip to rip your CD's and use Windows explorer to transfer your ripped music (use copy & paste functions) onto the Storage Media/Music folder in your X-Fi.

I have Windows XP SP3 and installed Creative Centrale without problems.
I can RIP music from CD's using the program but I find the program freezes up after ripping a few CD's -
I think that the errors are linked with the database program loading the CD data.
