Most unwanted beeping on Dacor products are due to a bad touchpad... Use your model # and start looking for a replacement , by touchpad I mean a part something like this one: Dacor Touchpad 62678B
Which manufacturer built your oven? The F2 error usually means that the oven temperature sensor is claiming the oven is too hot (or got too hot in the past). This usually requires replacing the temperature sensor. Sometimes, the control unit (clock) needs to be replaced.
I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the make and model of your oven for additional support.
Hello, The F5 ERROR code means that the self check that the control (also called clock)board runs to check itself has failed and the control has detected a problem within itself and the control must be repalced.
The F7 code means the same thing on all domestic (USA) brand ovens. What is means is that a button on the touch pad is shorted (welded together) out. Since you did not include brand or model# i will give you the following advice, if your touch pad is a seperate part that plugs in clock (also called the oven control,or eoc..electronic oven control) then just the touch pad can be replaced,on certain brands or even some models within a brand the touch pad is integrated into the clock/oven control or eoc in that case the complete touch pad/control asm. is what needs to be replaced
Hope this helps and if it does please give me a 4 thumbs up rating
F2 usually means that for an unknown reason, the oven temperature has exceeded a preset threshold. Check the sensor bulb in your oven, it could be bad or your thermostat is not working properly.
Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today. F2 means temp exceeds 590 with door unlocked or interference with sensor. Most likely a bad oven sensor..I would replace oven sensor.
Thank You and please rate my answer if it was helpful..
f1 indicates a shorted touch pad ,if you want to make sure ,unplug unit ,disconnect touch pad from computer board ,if f1 goes away touch pad is bad.if not replace board
F7 stuck keypad Stuck keypad may mean relay is turned on. Determine if problem is with the Key Panel or Control by: 1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad. 2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs
If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.
If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.
This is usually a case of over temperature - in which case the temperature sensor need to be replaced since it should be regulating the oven temperature
