Hi therockofsal,

It is not necessary to use windows media player to transfer your Recordings, just plug in your device into your computer and go into " My Computer " and there you should be able to go into your device and play or put your files into the CD.

The RCA Vr5220A should come with a manual and have instructions on how to do that.

I hope this helps.

Why after dvd recorder, it can not play with different dvd player?

Hi
There are quite a wide range of DVD disk types, and also recording methods. If the disk or recording method you use on your machine is not compatible with the characteristics of a second machine then the second machine will not play the DVD recorded on your machine.
To help a bit - I hope - I found a manual for your machine here:
http://data.manualslib.com/pdf2/37/3613/361228-rca/drc8320n.pdf?9a9bb40af2f1e0c8aa8fbae3a0c6dad0
which can be downloaded to your computer, opened and read using Acrobat Reader, and be available for future reference.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers

It does not reproduce the songs because I gave to him format by means of the PC

That is indication that the meida that was written is currupted. use the reset button on the device to attain alteration of the media. Also, replug the device to the computer to perform another media transfer. usually the media pleyer liek windows media, real one player or tues player recognises the device once plug connected. Teh computer program should allow to manipulate by deleting or retranfering another time. Tranfer meida betwweoon devcie should conform with standards. For example, the media should least be over captured esle forcefully currupts the device spaces. Also, tranfer the most intergram or functional media excluding the malfucntion else combining both compromises the MP3 player.

My recorder is locked and I can't locate the manual to unlock it! RCA RP5120-A

Hi,

The manual says this about it;

Keys lock
To avoid accidental key activation, slide the key lock selector toward the lock icon to lock the keys.

Reverse the step to unlock them.

I have included the link to download your manual for free for your convenience

Please do take a moment to vote on the answer as to whether it helped.

Many thanks.

Tranfer recording from computer to digital wave player

Unfortunately this is something that can not be done with this model. Since the computer does not see this as a removable disk drive it is not possible to write data back to it. The only thing you are able to do is to record files and download only. It does not have any upload capability.

Olympus VN-3100pc

on Windows XP, you will need to convert those files into 16bit cd audio quality. You can do this thru Sound Recorder on the computer. Just make that you change the file name before converting. Open up sound recorder, open up file, save as, convert, then change quality to cd quality then ok. After it is saved in 16 bit format, open Windows Media Player and then burn.

My rca disk they gave me in the package says it wont download

No. Your RCA Opal is a plug and play device 1. Plug USB cord into Headphone Jack (you MUST use the USB that came with the RCA Opal) 2. Plug USB cord into computer 3. Wait... 4. In my computer, it'll say "usb device" or "drive f" or whatever 5. Open "media" folder on that drive 6. And put your Mp3s on there. if you can't do that, than you need to upgrade your computer. Not many MP3 players support ME.
