My Video 55 player will not play my videos

You need to switch the video out seeting on the iPod, simple. It is located in Video/video settings/TV Out. Change the setting to "On". Problem solved. However, if you have an iPod that is less than 1 year old, nothing will work, iPod blocked this ability to change to "On" and is set on "Off" permanently.

Audio won't work on my movies!!

For most iPod owners, include you I guess, are not satisfying with only to play common music and videos with your lovely iPod. While there has been many times I heard that people complaining about the issues that some songs not playing with their iPod touch, more specifically, the iTune plays the music, seems to sync and the album cover shows up, but when trying to play it on iPod, the track doesn't play and the progress bar doesn’t move. Some just say that some certain video files can’t play on their iPod. All the problems could be caused by compatibility issue.
There’s a way out. With the help of additional freeware and shareware apps, it's easy to extend your 'iPod's abilities in more ways. iPod video converter is definitely a good choice . Being powerful but easy to use, it enables you to convert all popular audio and video files, such as AVI, MPEG, MOV, MP4, VOB, DivX, XviD, AAC, AC3, MP3 to MPEc,G 4 and H.264 Video that can be playable on iPod family: iPod Touch, iPod Video Nano and of course the new iPod Classic. it also has excellent video editing ability: crop out unwanted subtitles and unnecessary black bars, trim the video by setting the start time and ending time, customize the effect like saturation, contrast, etc,. you can also capture view from the video and store them as jpg,bmp or png.

iPod video converter is suitable for both novice and expert, you don’t have to have previous experience, and you will find just how powerful this program could be .it’s known for fast conversion speed but without video quality loss. Find more specific tools you need to work with your iPod.

Classic Ipod video playback problem

This is a response to all thoes with the problem of ipod videos stopping randomly and acting as though the video had ended. (please excuse any spelling or grammer errors that may be involved in this post)
I have reciently noticed alot of topics on this and other sites that had issues with the video on the ipod. After syncing a video that is a proper mp4 format, it seemed to work fine, it even began to play but after one or less minutes the video would stop playing and act as though it was finished and had reached it's end. It would happen at the exact same point every time and you could fast foreward past it and it would continue playing, only to find the problem in another spot a few minutes later. I had this problem with each and every video that I synced and could not play any of them, this problem irritated me and as I found out alot of others who had the same problem. I could find no solution that had yet been found after searching many sites that involve help with the ipod. After some research I soon found and solved my problem. The problem is that the ipod will only accept videos that have a video bitrate of less than 768 kbps. This is what causes our problem as stated above. This would mean that 512kbps would be the ideal for watching videos. (every video that had a video bitrate of 512 kbps (or lower) always worked and had no issues whatsoever) Only a few 768 kbps videos will work and some of them will not. So to fix the problem you need to find somthing that will reformat your video to a video bitrate of 512 kbps or lower. The current one that I use is called "Jodix free ipod video converter", this will change your favorite non mp4 videos into mp4s and just be sure to set the video bitrate on the converter to 512kbps or lower. Also use this program to change your already mp4s into a video bitrate of 512kbps or lower. (Just be sure to set the video bitrate to 512kbps or less by sliding the bar to lower quality for video.) This should make your videos continue playing for full enjoyment of your ipod. (with video) Please respond with any and all questions. Thank you for your time, I hope this is useful and solves the problem. Sorry for being long winded with my answers, I do this to ensure full understanding of my explination. /\/icho.

Ipod Video

This will never work, the new ipods will only work with apple products. I've had numerous headaches with this and after many phonecalls to manufacturers I discovered that the new ipods will only play video if they see an apple authentication chip embedded inside the video cable. Sorry.
