Two days ago my tv stop showing pictures but I can swicth chanels, iIcan hear sound but can not see anything. Can you tell me why and should i do?

The TV channel should be set on Chanel 3 or Chanel 4.
Use the remote control of the TV to set it.
You can also use the AUX ports (to TV) on the VCR and connect the three wires to the AUX ports on the TV (TV input). The two audio wires are to be connected to Audio in and the Video signal to the Video input.
If you get a garbled picture you can use press the tracking button on the VCR. Usually you press the Channel Up arrow, or Channel Down arrow to adjust the picture.

you may need to change the HDMI board in the tv. it will be the hole board the parts are just to small to replace them all to get the HDMI board working again. find a second hand replacement. should be fine with another known working one.

It sounds like you aren't cycling fully.
It sounds like you are on the TV (RF/Cable) input, then you switch input to Component 1 (for your DVD) and watch the DVD, then hit the input selector again, switching it to Component 2...you need to keep switching the input until you are back on the TV / Cable input.

The light flashing is some sort of an error code, count the number of times it flashes then call the manufacturer's tech support and tell them the standby flashes in increments of 5 or whatever yours is doing to find out what the code possibly means.

That is mainly only signal problem not your TV
