Hello, I have bought a black dial mens watch and understand how to set the time, but how do you get it going? Please help.Thanks.

the three dials are for three different time zones, there is no minutes or seconds.
to adjust the middle dial just push the small bottom which is located on the back side of the watch

If the day is in a window next to the date, pull the crown out one position to the same position used for the date correction. Often turning one way changes the date, turning the other direction changes the day. If your day is on a small dial on the watch dial then pull the crown out two clicks and go around 24 hours at a time and you will see the day advance.

Go to "wwwmodavo.com",

Select "service"

Select "download a PDF....." and select the watch that is similar to the one you bought.

Use a paper clip/small knife to prise the steel cylinder out from the side (go in from the back), it takes a bit of pressure but dont be scared. Once its popped out a bit you can turn it to adjust time

Go to the home site of the particular brand of watch you own. They should have the instructions for just about every watch configuration they manufacture.

If you don't have the instruction manual you can go to this link and on the right side of the page you can type in the model number. (it will tell you where to locate the model number) I tried this for a Bulova from 1998 and it worked but I don't know how far it will go back but it's worth a try.
