I have the same problem. It will copy some of the pictures but not ALL............any ideas? It seems like the ones it won't copy are the ones that are scanned. But they have been saved onto my hard drive and transferred to kodak easy share software. From the software it wont copy to the frame. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem. I use kodak easyshare software and load my pics on to that. Then put all the pics you want in the picture tray. Have your frame plugged into the computer with your usb cord. Then go up to File menu and drop down to "copy to". On my computer it is Folder "E" which is the drive the frame is connected to. Then pick from the Resize drop down menu " best for picture frame', then click copy. You will see the program loading all the pics to E drive. When done, unplug usb cord and you will see it loading on your pic frame. As easy as this is to do, I found it frustrating as well, but when it works, it is easy. Hope this helps

Kodak Easy Share CD1013 pictures won't download on Vista

Hello and welcome to FixYa

Please go to a electronics store and buy a USB card reader. I bought one last week and it cost $0.5 so its cheap as dirt. Then simply remove the card from your camera , pop it into the reader and the pictures will appear on a drive like a flashdrive in your my computer folder.

This is a much better option than using the camera's cable as it is faster , safer , saves on your camera battery and you don't need to install any software or drivers.

The card reader will most likely also still be compatible with any new camera you buy in future.

Kind Regards
Andrea

WHERE is the port to put my memory card from camera into my HP?

HP Laptops don't come with a built-in card reader.

You have two options:

  1. Use the USB cable that came with your camera to download your pictures. This plugs into your camera right next to where your card goes. Your computer will recognize the camera as a "removable drive". Click the Start button, click on My Computer, and click on the drive (usually E or F) that is called "Kodak EasyShare").
  2. Go to Best Buy or similar and purchase an HD Card Reader. These cost about $20-$30.

Cant copy any pictures from computer

You can start copying pictures to SV811 digital picture frame if you get the message “Use PC interface to copy files.” Here are the steps:
Copy pictures, videos, and music between your frame and computer, using your computer's normal file copying tools:

1. Connect the USB cable from the frame to your computer
2. On your computer, open My Computer or Windows Explorer.

The picture frame appears as removable drives—one drive for each connected picture source in the frame, in this order: internal memory, memory cards, and USB devices.

3. Navigate to the pictures you want to copy. Then drag and drop them to the new location.
4. Unplug the USB cable to view your copied pictures.

Copying pictures from EasyShare software:

1. Install EasyShare software (free download at www.kodak.com/go/sw )
2. Connect the USB cable.
3. On your computer, open EasyShare software. Select the pictures in My Collection and drag them into the Picture tray.
4. In the menu bar, select File and then Copy to the Kodak Drive letter.

The picture frame appears as removable drives—one drive for each connected picture source in the frame, in this order: internal memory, memory cards, and USB devices.

5. Select the frame source to which you are copying.
6. Select Best for Digital Picture Frame to reduce the resolution of the pictures you are copying. Full resolution is unnecessary and quickly fills up the frame's memory.
7. Click Copy. Pictures are copied to your frame.
8. Unplug the USB cable and press “Home” icon to navigate to your copied pictures.

Cannot play videos in Kodak SV811 photo frame

Finally solved this one. My Kodak Sv-811 Digital Frame would not play any videos UNTIL I decompressed them. .mov videos are compressed, usually with mpeg2 or mpeg4 or h.264 methods. In Quicktime Pro (or any video conversion able program) under video options, choose "photo-jpeg" or basically no compression. The file is 3 times as large but it will play!
