Which will provide the lowest heat? low 10 hours or warm setting. Thanks

The WARM setting is the lowest heat. Here's a quote from the user manual:

"WARM is ONLY for keeping already cooked food at the perfect serving temperature. DO NOT cook on the WARM setting."

This is because at the WARM setting, the temperature doesn't get hot enough to kill food-borne bacteria.

Ihave model #169200...can I set a tempurature or is it just high, low and warm???If I can set a temp ,how would I do it Thanks

The model 169200 only allows you to set temperatures in predetermined steps of WARM, LOW, HIGH.

You cannot enter the desired temperature in degrees.

The design of this models controls is terrible. I have one and would not recommend this to anyone. Obviously designed by someone who has a very confused understanding of how "slow cooking" works.

I bought a used little crock pot with no manual. It has only "on" and "off" settings. What temperature would that be?

When it's plugged in, it's "on". All Rival crockpots heat up to simmer, which is about 209 degrees, and then stay there. So whether it's "Low" or High" or somewhere in between, it will heat to the 209. I got this information from the Rival web site when I was researching for information on my 1 qt. and 2 qt. crockpots that I have no manuals for. There's a manual for the 1.5 quart online but after I printed it off, I lost the URL. Go to www.crockpot.com -- maybe that will get to the manual, or at the least, it should give you a Customer Service phone number to call to request one, or directions where to find it online.

On a Rival crock-pot, which is the higher cooking temperature: Low or Warm

Low and High are cooking levels, warm is to keep the food warm after it is cooked.
