Kingston Data Traveler 2.0 64 GB USB - file system corrupted - need to work on windows XP- Upon formatting the pen drive It shows that it has become a raw drive - wat is the file format for the USB to work...

Theoretically, you can't format a more than 32 GB drive with FAT/FAT32 file system. In your case you have to choose the NTFS file system to format your 64 GB USB flash drive. However, if you really need to format it with FAT32, you got to use the command line or a third party tool. Hope this is going to help you.

I have a kingston 4GB data traveler pen drive it shows in "my computer" but does not format. it also shows memory 0 (zero). My computer runs on XP SP-2, with 736 MHZ, 256 RAM. Kindly suggest

If it shows, it just need to be formated, what format version are you using NTSF or FAT?? That maybe the cause that is causing it now to format. If it doesn't work, and you can't get it to format, then I think your pen is bad.

Good day, i am using a data traveler 200 64 gb and file table currently raw and unable to format or convert the file system

Hello moolmijl

May i know what Operating System are you using? Like: WindowsXP, Windows 7, Vista.
If its windows operating system, then follow this steps:

1) Insert your Data Traveler
2) Go to your My Computer
3) Look for your Data Traveler from that window
4) Right Click your Data Traveler
5) Look for FORMAT thingy in that dropdown
6) Click Format
7) Choose the File System into Fat32
8) Check the Quick Format

Then wait for it. Then Your Good to go.

Update me about it.

Cheers
