It seems your detail is not enough for us to solve it quickly,
But i will give you advice regarding this problem, many phone i experience fixing is the same problem you have, usually camera module are only dislocated due to dropping the phone to the ground,by fixing this, you just need to dismantle the back panel were the camera is near attach by using a precision screw driver,try to detach the camera gently and attach it again or just simply push it inner so that the camera will contact the connection on the interface of the board.
if this method does not work? bringing it to a service center is the best choice to fix the problem,either they'll check and fix some components or need to replace the camera module.
Repairing camera is a specialty. so unless you have this skill you'll
have to let someone else fix it. i sent my camera to be fixed to: www.camerarepair.com they were reasonably priced and have a 6 month warranty. they're pretty quick also.
I have the same issue with my 3 month old Lumix DMC FS15 plus it won't focus and gives the error message to "turn camera off and then on" This doesn't fix it.
Bottom line fix: Don't buy this camera again and don't recommend other buy it.
Try removing the battery, and put both the camera and battery aside for 1/2 + hour. Reinsert the battery (this will set the camera back to the factory default state) setup the camera again eg date & time etc. If this doesn't fix the problem then the camera is damaged.
it can definitly be fixed but, if all the other components are working fine, I wouldn't take a chance in taking it appart to fix the LCD. If it's something you feel is needed, you can easily find the LCD you're looking for on Ebay. They usually run about $50. With a cracked LCD, of course, the value of the camera goes down, but if you ever plan on selling it or trading it in, the LCD should be replaced! Good Luck!
