The best shot you have at finding out what this watch is, would be to take it into a Watch Repair Shop. They have books that identify watches by the make and mode, and I have found information on a lot of rare watches that way. Take the watch in, and they can probably identify it and give you an estimate as to it's value.
Good luck, and hope this helps.
Esquire watches are wonderful time pieces when you are able to purchase an original. The exact time piece you own is proving a little difficult to identify as the design which you have explained seems to be a bit common these days. The abnormal numbering happens to be a trend among watch makers these days as it is only the even numbers which they are trying to display.
Check the watch for an exact model name this can usually be found under the name esquire which is written on the face of the watch. If you cant identify the name just write out all the words and numbers written on the face of the watch minus the 12 / 2 / 4 / date / 8 / 10 . Although the iregular numbering does not denote anything in particular.
Hope this solution has been helpful?
