Picture is gone! i can hear fine. have turned it on/ off etc....

There are bad grounds on the main board. I have not repaired this particular TV. But the symptoms are all the same. You must pull this board out and inspect any and all grounds. Start with the vertical IC and inspect and resolder there. Next inspect the flyback grounds, the horizontal driver transformer pins, power resistors and diodes etc. And be sure you inspect the small board that is connected to the picture tube. Solder with care and do not use excess solder or you will create a short. This info should bring your TV back. Thanks for asking and show a few hands of support!
