the tub is out of balance because there are too many clothes on one side of the tub. When this happens, turn it off, move some of the clothes so that they are equally placed around the tub and re start.
If you can shake the outer tub in several directions without it banging the mechanism on the case, it would appear that you have it correct. If it were wrong, either the machine would 'walk' around the floor or make banging noises when it goes into spin with a full load of clothes. The tub should be free to shake, but in a controlled manner. Good luck and well done!
Try leveling the washer... If the washer is level, then don't wrap the clothes around the agitator...drop the clothes straight in, on top of each other evenly around the agitator. The Ensignia washer has a Dual action agitator... That means the clothes roll over them selves, instead of moving side to side, as with a traditional agitator. wrapping the clothes around the agitator will cause the load to be un balanced and then cause the "banging" noise... this should take care of the problem...
You said, When in spinning cycle, the barrel begins to move all over banging the
washer across the floor. I don't even know what to look for.
Help.
sounds like the coupling connecting the tub to the transmission may be loose and throwing the wash tub out of rotation causing the banging and walking washer. Bless You Huuum
