HP Officejet 6310 xi all-In-One - What should I do to scan from computer Windows7 Trying to scan from wireless computer, what steps do I need

that is usually done in the set up menu. Press menu and scroll through till you get to date and time.

To scan using your HP Officejet 6310, you need to install the full feature driver software.

You need to install the software and driver for the version of windows that is on the new computer.

refer to hp.com then on the search box type: no scan options. there is a step by step methods there that you can perform.

Nothing helps. Print servers are capable of connecting a multifunction printer for printing capabilities only. For scanning, you have to connect directly to the Computer or by a Multifunction printer with wireless capabilities.

If you have set up your printer on a wireless network, you will need to open up some ports on your router in order to get the scan feature to work. I could only print and not scan. I went to HP's support site and they gave me the list of ports to open -- of course they don't tell you how to do that. Everything works fine now. If that's your problem, post another thread with the router ID and hopefully we can figure it out. Hope this helps.
