If you already tried unplugging/reconnecting and/or changing the Sata cable. Then please go to this link and ask for replacement.

Repair broken

Easy, just hook up old drive as secondary and new drive as primary. Copy what you need from the secondary onto the primary. When you are done, just disconnect the secondary drive and enjoy your new one.

My hitachi hard drive Hitachi HDT721064SLA380 isn't detected by computer and i can here a sound "tic tic" in the HDD ,Thanks .

Hi Welcome to Fixya!
Your hdd is making that sound mainly because it could already be damaged inside. That is also the reason why it is not being detected by the computer.
Same thing happened to me with my 120gb Seagate Barracuda.
Consider in replacing the hard drive on your computer.

Hope this could help!
Have a great day!

Hi, I have problem here. I just bought Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000.C. It works fine at first, but one day latter some clicking noise appear. It detected in BIOS, but then make my Windows take a very long time...

The short answer is the drive is having trouble calibrating itself, and should be sent back under warranty for replacement.
There are things you could try to recover the unit, but why risk voiding the warranty only to wind up with a questionable drive afterward?

SATA INSTALLATION TB HITACHI DESKSTAR

I would recommend you check the website for the latest "bios" (also known as firmware) for the motherboard. Or, see their support to verify you can install a drive this large. Check the Logical Block Addressing (lba) and make sure your bios has it enabled. Older bio's offer several options ..If you need further help, contact us at http://techrxgb.com If you find this helpful, please give me a hands up
