Could be to late. Could have blow the BCM. Unhook the radio and see if the other things start working. If they do, your lucky. Then find some to hook up the radio. I can install radios, but I use a volt /ohm meter. You can not trust the diagrams the radios come with. Or the diagrams I buy.
Sorry we have no info on aftermarket audio installations. I do know that you can't replace the radio/audio systems on newer cars as it is tied into the on board computer system.
Since you didn't list the year and model of the car, I can only give a general answer: Some model cars, especially luxury European cars, the radio is hooked to the cars ATA system (alarm system), so that if the radio is stolen the alarm goes off and the relay kicks in to prevent the car from starting. When the old radio was removed, this may have been activated. Second...who wired in this new radio and which circuit did they use for power? If they hooked power from another circuit (one not used for radio)..this may be your problem. They may also have disconnected wiring or power for your ATA.
ONLY dealership can unlock your radio. your radio is hooked into the cars computer this is part of security system and operating system. great system when it works but can be the cause of lots of problems
The original radio is a BOSE system and it has a buit in amp. So if you replaced the deck you need to replace the speakers all so. Don't cut the wires to hook-up the deck buy an addapter KIT. It's not just the stereo that runs though that harness the factory alarm does all so and that will cause you problems. Anyway back to the stereo you need to add an amplifier and problem sovled.
okay u will have to troubleshoo the amp.....dose the amp light up?...when u have the radio on? also check your sub wires.going to the amp....make sure the rca'sare hooked up to the radio rear out puts are the radio sub out puts...and then test your amp gain adjustment...let me know if that work's
