Hi, I'm the new admin. I can't figure out how to change the name on the display on my phone. It still displays the old name.

If you have the Admin password then follow this procedure:
For a DT330 (24-Button with 4 line LCD)
Do not lift the handset and press the Speaker button
Enter #*#*
Enter the 4 digit admin password and press the Transfer button
The phone will now display 'Program Mode'
Select Base from the four options using the associated softkey
Enter 15 and press the select softkey 2 times
The Extension Number and Ext Name will be displayed
Find the Extension Number you want to change the Extension Name for using the + and - softkeys
Press the Mic button to go to the Ext Name line
Enter the New Name using the number dial keypad.
If you make an error the Recall button will delete a character to the left and the Hold button will delete all characters to the right of the cursor.
Press the Transfer button to accept the new name.
Press the Answer button 4 times or until 'Program Mode' is displayed.
Press the Speaker button.
The system will save the changes and return the display to normal.

Try Feature ** ADMIN (23646) and password 23646. This should let you in to make name and time changes.

The administrator or tech needs to do this from Administration programming (FXXXDMIN), see your office admin or call the tech in for admin training.
Password required as well which the vendor/tech can help with.

If you know password and how to do programming then looks under Sets/***/NAME

you would need to get into the admin programming to change the name, have your system admin person make the change for you.

Login to system software and change it. If you have a big display phone with Admin Rights you can change it through that phone.

Press Feature 9 8 1, display shows: Pswd: OTHR RETRY OK, enter your old password, press OK or #, Press ADMIN or 8, display shows: Mailbox Admin, GREET PSWD QUIT, Press PSWD or 4, enter new password, press OK or # to end your password, display shows: Accept password?, Press YES or # to accept your new password, press RLS. To Log Into System Programming:
Press FEATURE * * 2 6 6 3 4 4
Enter Password: 2 6 6 3 4 4 Display will read: " A. Configuration"
Using the navigation keys, as displayed below, follow the next simple steps:
Press: NEXT Display will read: "B. General Admin"
Press: SHOW Display will read: "1. Sys speed dial"
Press: NEXT Display will read: "2. Names"
Press: SHOW Display will read: "1. Sys speed dial"
Press: NEXT Display will read: "2. Names"
Press the SHOW Display will read: "Set names"
Press: SHOW Display will read: "Show set:__"
Enter the extension number of which you wish to change the name Display will read: "<##:name>"
Press the CHANGE softkey
Using the dial pad spell out the name Ex: If you need the letter K press the 5 key twice and then press # to confirm the letter. Continue until the entire first name is spelled. (note: you are limited to 7 characters)
Press: NEXT (if you fail to do this step, the name will not be saved!!!)
Press the RLS key

once windows is installed, the 1st user chooses their name, and is stuck with that name, when the name is changed, that will still be the admin name. so this cannot be fixed without wiping windows.

try this website. You need to first release all the calls, then do Feture **ADMIN or **23626 ... that should get you into the system, I'm just having trouble because my office phone won't let me enter the password once i'm in. The password should be ADMIN or 23646 as well.

If you have a different phone, try Feature **CONFIG or **266344 and play around with it from there.
