I don't think you get how this site works. You are not talking to the same expert that answered your original question. Heck, i don't even know your original question. When you post something in that box, Your post gets thrown into a "pool" from which experts can pick and choose at their leisure. Now, when you look at this post, click the "reply" link, post your original question, and i may be able to help you.
Little box....you mean the usb thingy that plugs into your computer?
If you do mean the USB thing, you shouldn't need to open that up. I don't even think it has an internal battery; those are normally powered by the computer.
Yes that the USB thing... I must put batteries in it (it's written on the computer screen at the end of the installation of the mouse), and the bottom is made to be opened but iI don't know how!
Can you post a picture of the reciever or send me a link to a picture of it on google? i can look at it and tell you how to open it, I just need the pic because for obvious reasons, i don't keep all this data on mice in my brain
OK !! I'll do that!
heck, even just providing a model number will work
Mouse 0682
On the box it's written : Cordless mouse receiver
M/N: C-BA4-MSE
PIN:830851-0000
S/N : LZB25202711
Okay, i can't find any good pics on it. But you say it was made to be opened, how do you know that? is there a panel on the bottom? screws? describe it.
There is a place to put your nail and pull but there is no way to open it!
Even with a knife or a screw drawer!
Found it. Doesn't look like its supposed to be opened. if i'm looking at the correct thing (logitech freedom keyboard and wireless mouse), the only places that require batteries are the keyboard and the mouse. The bottom of the reciever is likely a servicing panel, in case it breaks. if it doesn't look easy to open, then the company designed it like that to keep you out. I apologize, but i don't think i can help you much further. I tried. If you want, i can give you logitechs number, and you can try to figure it out with them . is that okay?
OOOOOHHHHHH!! i know what that is now
Its a small slot in the bottom, correct? You have the right idea, but you put your nail NEXT to the slot and pull from the edge of the panel. That slot is to give some space for it to bend, so that you can release the catch.
I apologize for the misinformation, i guess it IS supposed to be opened. Logitech has a very confusing design for their battery covers.
Thanks a lot for your help!! I'm going to try that!!
Have a good day!
Let me know if it works. don't forget to rate
No I can't open it and as I can almost see throught it I wonder if there is some place to put batteries!!
I don't understand why they ask me to put batteries!!
How do I rate?
would you like logitech's phone number? perhaps i am not explaining well enough, or there is something that both you and i are missing. And you rate by going to the original solution and clicking on wheter or not this was helpful.
No it's OK thanks....I'm going to ask the person who sold me this mouse when I see him...

Usually answered in minutes!
I can't open the connection between the computer and the mouse to change the batteries.
Thanks you to show me how to open that little box! I'm afraid to break it...

It didn't help me but I think it's my fault!
