To make a folder type: mkdir FOLDER_NAME Where FOLDER_NAME is the name that you want to give your folder.

To rename a folder type: rename FOLDER_OLDNAME FOLDER_NEWNAME Where FOLDER_OLDNAME is the old name of the folder and FOLDER_NEWNAME is the new name of the folder.

HOW TO CHANGE FONTS IN LG GD510 (LG POP) CELL PHONE.

What you need:<br />1) The CUST file<br />2) One or two true type fonts (.ttf)<br />3) Winmage installed (<a href="http://www.winimage.com/download/winima85.exe">DOWNLOAD HERE</a>)<br /><br />1. First, open up your CUST file using Winimage.<br /><br />2. In the DMF folder (or the MEDIA folder) there is a sub folder called fonts. In this are two true type fonts.<br /><br />3. Make sure the fonts you are adding are on the desktop. Then rename them both like the ones in the CUST file. To do this quickly, simply right click on one of the fonts, and then click on properties. You can then just copy the titles.<br /><br />4. If you only have one font, just make a double of it, and rename it like one of the original fonts. Notice how they are different in names. Make sure your two fonts are as well.<br /><br />5. Highlight both of the original fonts and hit delete. Then click on the small icon with an arrow going upwards out of sheets of paper. This lets you insert files. Find your two custom, properly named files and insert them.<br /><br />6. Once you have done all this, you can then save the CUST file and upload it to your LG pop. Then you should have a new font <img src="smiley.gif" /><br /><br />Not all fonts will work, but the majority of them do. Notice how similar the way your pop reads the files to a computer <img src="smiley.gif" />

I set my admin account to limited user and i cant open it anymore..please help to retrieve this user account.thank you..

i assume you are using Windows XP.
try log off and login as "Administrator", if you remember the password. Try blank password first. if it doesn't show in the list, press Ctrl-Alt-Del twice and type it in.
if no joy, you can download this iso, burn it onto CDR as disk image, not data.
restart and boot from this CD, then you have the chance to change/reset/blank any user's password. but take care not to do other thing. follow the author's instructions.
good luck!

Disabling the adjustments of Date & time??

Hi there.
This is the best i can remember about Win98
In Win98, rename the timedate.cpl to _timedate.cpl from your system folder and open command.com in a hex editor and go to the location that is on or around 0x010b36. there you will see a table of DOS commands.
simply rename "time" (and/or "date") to something else (as long as it's exactly 4 characters long!). then bring up a new DOS window and you will see that it only accepts your new command for changing the time and date.
This method, in combination with (renaming timedate.cpl), and
making sure that your BIOS settings are password protected, should prevent virtually anyone who is a non-guru from changing the system time.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!

N72 phone

hello there!

Find this app:

FontRouter[1].LT.for.v9.Build20071109.unsigned

1) Install in the memory card.
2) Create a folder in memorycard at data en name it fonts (when there is allready one don't bother, there should b a file there called fontrouter ini
3) make fonts (choose a ttf and copy them 3 times so u have 4 fonts.
4) Rename them in2:

nohindisnr60
nohindissb60
nohinditsb60
S60ZDIGI

Now for the hard part...

5) make sure your cell doesn't use the memorycard (otherwise the mass storage won't work)....
Think about the message setting and change it in2 phone memory...
6) Connect with mass storage and rop the 4 files in the e:data/fonts
7) Unplug and reboot...
8) That's it....

When U want 2 change it, that's even harder.
Because the new fonts R being used by the memorycard, the mass storage won't work anymore. U can't delete the without mass storage....

1) Use the app X-plore and search 4 the frontrouter.ini file in the same folder.
2) Edit the file and change the setting on the 12th row:

enable=1

in2 this:

enable=0

3) save it and exit...
4) Reboot (this will restore your normal font)
5) Now use mass storage (again everything exits on the memorycard) and rename the folder fonts (E:data/fonts) in2 font (so loose the s)
6) Delete the files in there
7) Reboot and that's it.

When u want 2 change them at point 5 U have 2 drop the new ones in there after U deleted the old ones.
Then use X-plore again and edit the ini file and change it back 2:

enable=1

reboot and U have new ones....

Good luck.

Hp nc6230

hello there,

U can try booting into Safe mode with networking option.

If you log into a limited account on your target machine and open up a dos prompt
then enter this set of commands Exactly:
cd\ *drops to root
cd\windows\system32 *directs to the system32 dir
mkdir temphack *creates the folder temphack
copy logon.scr temphack\logon.scr *backsup logon.scr
copy cmd.exe temphack\cmd.exe *backsup cmd.exe
del logon.scr *deletes original logon.scr
rename cmd.exe logon.scr *renames cmd.exe to logon.scr
exit *quits dos
Now what you have just done is told the computer to backup the command program
and the screen saver file, then edits the settings so when the machine boots the
screen saver you will get an unprotected dos prompt with out logging into XP.
Once this happens if you enter this command minus the quotes
"net user <admin account name here> password"
If the Administrator Account is called Frank and you want the password blah enter this
"net user Frank blah"
and this changes the password on franks machine to blah and your in.
