WRT120N Linksys router will not connect to Vizio Wireless Blue Ray Player. Need to lower the security to connect to Blue Ray Player.

You will need to check the setting of your wireless router.
Do you have any computer connected to the network?
Using one computer connected to the network, you can open the router page and check the wireless router settings.

Try making the tv have a static IP address if that does not work tray a hard wire to set up Netflix then switch to wireless

Please connect the router and open 192.168.1.1 and enter the login page of the router with
username=blank
Password =ADMIN
Once you are in the router page select the basic wireless settings.
Under this if you want you can select the security.
Once this is set
save the settings.
Will wok fine.

If the Wireless device isn't secured, Secure it. Set up a SSID and Security Key(password). If unsecure your signal, at best, COULD be use by anyone to connect to the web using your resources and slowing down your activity. At worst, use your signal for nefarious purposes causing you a great deal of Pain and Heartache, and MAYBE the FBI knocking at your door.

The default login = admin
The default PW = admin
You can protect your router by changing the default admin PW (write it down and put it in a safe place)
Go to the wireless configuration and set up the SSID and WPA or WPA2 encryption.
Now apply these settings to the wireless card in your laptop/computer.

Looking for the Linksys WRT120N default password? You probably have little reason to access your router on a regular basis so don't feel too bad if you've forgotten the WRT120N default password.

However, when you're troubleshooting a network problem and need to get in to the device, the WRT120N default password suddenly becomes very important.

For most versions of the Linksys WRT120N, the default password is admin. As with most passwords, the WRT120N default password is case sensitive.

In addition to the WRT120N default password, you can also see the WRT120N default username and WRT120N default IP address in the table below.

Note: The Linksys WRT120N default password may be different for certain hardware orfirmware versions.

Help! The WRT120N Default Password Doesn't Work!

At some point during the life of your particular Cisco Linksys WRT120N, the default password, username, and/or IP address might have been changed.

In most cases, if the Linksys WRT120N default IP address has been changed, the new IP address for the WRT120N will be the same as the default gateway IP address configured for your network connection.

Is it a new router? Your Linksys WRT120N needs resetting. Reset the Linksys router & reconfigure as per your requirement. I had two such routers giving trouble for the WiFi connectivity & which were new. You will be able to connect your router.

Wireless should be enabled by default on the router. Check whether you have switched on wireless on your laptop.
