You have two options: Download the manual from here and have it printed and bound. Most office-supply stores will be able to do this. The alternative is to contact Canon and see whether they can sell you a manual.
The first thing you are going to need to do is to take a look at the manual for the phone in English (if you can't read German.)
Then, you'll need to view an owner's manual in German - to compare the directions. And, third, you'll probably need an online translator to translate German to English.
I gave my Dad the same unit as a gift, just finished translating the relevant sections of the German manual for him. I can't post it here because it exceeds the maximum length, e-mail me at david [dot] moss [at] kit [dot] edu if you'd like a copy.
Maybe you could try unplugging from power source for a while. Perhaps it will revert back to original settings i.e. English. Also, sometimes there is a 'reset' button on the telephone. If you don't have a copy of your manual, look online at the company's website for it. Hope this helps but it is worth a shot anyway!
u need to go to start>settings>system>regional settings andthen set ur device language to english if u want to make it completeenglish OS is that u mean ? then pls download updated English ROM fromwww.htc.com and install it as directed
