I've got a PC amplifier Philips A5.600 (4.1 surroud), but I'm lacking the remote controll as described in the manual. It's functioning all right, but all the advantages of the remote I'm missing. Is the amplifier correct working without it? How can I buy one?

Yes, the amp will work just fine without it . Just that it will be a lot harder to control it, and only for the basic settings.
Unfortunately a direct replacement remote can be obtained only by ordering directly at them - very expensive, not worth the money. You should better get an universal remote - the ones from Philips or Logitech will work for sure.

Philips MCD716 not turning on :

You need the ribbon serial control cable to use the Phillips MCD716 to connect between the DVD player and the power amplifier. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/175139/Philips-Mcd716-12.html?page=11#manual . The power cord plugs into the power amplifier, https://www.manualslib.com/manual/175139/Philips-Mcd716-12.html?page=10#manual. The DVD player won't turn on without the control cable. Since the power amplifier only has a volume control, you can't do anything with the home theater system (change input, set the tuner frequency) without the ribbon cable.

I hope this helps.

Ingot my Philips remote programmed on my tv and DVD player. It works but when using DVD player the buttons don't function as its proper function. For example the play button puts the tv on mute,

It is a common problem with any universal remote controls. Try an other code for your device. Select one code which has maximum functionality. Than is the only thing have to do.

How to make my philips DVP3747 region free

Here is a hack that I've found to work on many Philips machines.

Turn on Player
Using Remote Control open the Disk Tray (and leave open)
Using Remote Control Press SetUp
Using Remote Control Scroll To Preference using Left / Right Arrow keys (Just Highlight it do NOT select it)
Using Remote Control Press 1 3 8 9 3 1

Region Menu Screen Should Appear

Using Remote Control Select Desired Region Using Up / Down Arrow Keys (0 [Zero] For Region Free)

Hope this helps.

User manual /remote controll

Hi there,

You can download the manual for your tv if you use the link below it will take you to a site called diplodocs.com i have set the link up to take you to the right download page for your tv. If you click on the PDF file titled 'Download the complete user guide (2521 ko)' before it will allow you to download the manual it will ask you to rate your tv, it's easy to do and only takes a few seconds and it's also safe to do so. Once you have done that the 'download manual' box will activate, click on it you will then get a standard box open up with the options to 'open, 'save' cancel' you can choose which one you would like to do, if you save it then at least you will have a copy of the manual on your computer.
A universal remote control should be able to do the same functions as the original as you are able on some remotes to use their macro function to setup particular keys or a learning type of remote that will set itself up. Whether or not you would be happy with that is a seperate issue but if you do decide to go down that route then I would suggest to get the functionality you require you would want to buy a mid to higher end priced universal remote control made by either Philips or one for all. A direct Philips replacement remote control RC2015/01 which is listed as being the original remote is available to buy online, a quick look on one site was asking 44 US dollars.

Hope this helped,

James

How do I set up onefor all remote

i had a one-for-all remote lacking instructions. their web site had the information for my model. have a look:
http://www.oneforall.com/
it is probably best to just enter your remote's model number in the search box on the top right.. you should be able to get a pdf of the manual from there with the procedures and device codes for programming..

Does your reciever use a remote control?

If so, you should be aware that on many recievers and surround amplifiers some of the functions may only be accessible via the remote control (the best way to learn about it is to consult the user manual).

I have a Pioneer VSA-730 surround amplifier and the only way i can change the mix levels for surround/sub/center speakers is by a remote control. My friend had the same problem and, after reading the manual, he discovered that he actually needs to use the remote control to access all functions of the amplifier.

Good luck and best regards
