Question about Archos Internet Media Tablet MP3 Player
When you put in the details of your product now, on the web-site, there is the option to transfer registration of a product to you. The product details are key and serial number which can only be obtained by physically having the unit. It's so easy now.

I rang this number.0207 949 0115. I've the same problem and spoke to a guy who told me to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Give them as many details about you and the machine as you can. I'm still waiting on an outcome but the guy assured me it would be dealt with.

you should call their help desk. I had a problem registering because I bought mine at Sam's club and there was some glitch with it recogmizing the serial number or something. the tech support person can do it for you when you call. the number is available at archos.com. good luck!

Go to settings and look under system.Then look where it says usb peference then see if it says windows media device if not change it to this and if that doesnt work try the other settings.If that doesnt work go to Archos.com and contact them and see what they can do.
