You could try these 'resources' though
Visit the detecto official website (I couldn't find the manual there) and use the support tab at the left edge of thar page or find contact details and ask detecto for a manual.

I think detecto have a facebook page. Login to facebook and go to https://www.facebook.com/cardinaldetecto/posts/10151307170136769 (I'm not sure that you have to be logged in but I w3as and went straight to that page). It is about problems with a D220 AND HAS CONTACT DETAILS FoR YOUR PROBLEM (from 2013 though)

The under neath of my scale came apart when i had it tipped over how do i put the stuff back

Go to http://www.wholesalepoint.com/product/Detecto-437.aspx and click on download owners manual.

Instructions are there to assemble the scale and that should help. Otherwise you can call the folks at Wholesale Point. They are authorized dealers and know the products very well.

We moved our Detecto scale to the basement for the holiday. Now that it is back in place, it doesn't work. If no one is on it, it is perfectly balanced. But when one gets on, it just kinda flops around....

Upon closer inspection, we noticed an S-hook had come unhooked. After much "tinkering" (it wasn't easy) my husband got the S-hook back in position, and that was it. Lesson learned, do not tilt the scale or move it carelessly....we almost "trashed" an expensive scale for the sake of an S-hook!
