I have a whirlpool duet wfw 9550 ww front loading washing machine. I purchased it about a month ago and it has been problem after another. Tonight I did a small wash and the machine was spinning slightly off balance then poof it just stopped and I can't get the clothes out of the drum. HELP!!!

you dont need to remove the front of the washer to get to the control board. remove the top panel by removing the screws at the top in the back. top panel should now slide off. control board will now be visible.

One hour and 10 minutes is normal for your washer. All front load washers take a long time. They wash a lot better than top loaders. So to answer your question.. yes its normal.
I have stacked ours too, though after 5 years we have not had any issues with the pressure. I would suggest checking the screws holding the hinge in place as they may have loosened or been tightened with the door not properly lined up.
