Hi Adrian, no this number is not a model number for a Whirlpool Washer. If you have a top loading Washer, you can locate the model/serial number by looking just under the lid around the tubs rim. If you have a front loading Washer, the model/serial number can be found by opening the door and looking around the opening of the Washer. The model number will begin with letters, usually with the letter W. We hope this helps.

LG products usually have a 12 character serial number format, comprising mixed letters and numbers, e.g: 123ABCD45678.

If you can find a number on the manufacturers sticker consisting of, 3 numbers, then 4 letters, then another 5 numbers (as above), this will be the serial number.
