Hi I got an email from you saying but I'm going to be suspended from receiving emails I still want to get emails from Facebook what do I do

It is fairly safe to assume that this is a scam so you do not need to do anything. If you want to check it, log into Facebook and see if you have been left any messages. DO NOT use the link in the message you received, but type in Facebook directly into your browser. This type of scam is common and you will get them from banks, paypal, you name it. They are trying to get you to use the link in the message and will then ask you for personal information.

Send an email to [email protected] and ask them what you did wrong if you don't know. If you do know, explain to them you unaware this was against the rules and will behave, ask them to reactivate your account. You might also want to CC in your email [email protected] and [email protected]

You can normally get your account back this way in less than one week.

I Tried to get into my fb and got a message that mine was temporarily suspended as a security precaution likely comprimised, i dont even know my pw anymore i am going to delete my account this is awful...

If you are unable to log in to your account and are receiving a warning that your account appears to be compromised, Facebook has detected suspicious activity on your account and has temporarily suspended it as a security precaution. It is possible that your password was "phished," or stolen by a website designed to look like Facebook. You will be able to regain access to your account once you complete the automated security verification process. When you regain access to your account, please be sure to follow all of the suggested security precautions, including:
  1. Password Protection: You should select a unique and complex password for your account and keep this entirely to yourself. Be sure that you use a complex string of numbers, letters, and punctuation marks that is at least six characters in length. It should also be different from other passwords you use elsewhere on the internet.
  2. Private Browsing: Please make sure that you log out of your Facebook account and quit your browser when you're done using the site. This is especially important when using a public computer or someone else's mobile device. You should also never check the "Keep me logged in" box when logging in from a public computer, as this will keep you logged in even after you close your browser window.
  3. Secure Email: Since anyone who can read your email can probably also access your Facebook account, you should make sure that any email addresses associated with your account are secure. To ensure security, you should change the password for all of your email accounts and make sure that no two are the same. By varying your passwords, you can greatly decrease your account's risk of being compromised in the future.
  4. Security Question: If you have not done so already, you should add a security question to your account from the Account Settings page. You should choose a question and answer that you will remember, and no one else should be able to answer the question that you choose.
  5. Log in at Facebook.com: Make sure that when you access the site, you always log in from a legitimate Facebook page with the facebook.com domain. Do not click any unfamiliar links and do not run any executable files (files ending in .exe) on your computer without knowing what they are. If something looks or feels suspicious, go directly to www.facebook.com to log in.
  6. Run Anti-Virus Software: If your computer has been infected with a virus or with malware, you will need to run anti-virus software to remove these harmful programs and keep your information secure.

    For Microsofthttp://www.microsoft.com/protect/viruses/xp/av.mspxhttp://www.microsoft.com/protect/computer/viruses/default.mspx

    For Applehttp://support.apple.com/kb/HT1222
  7. Learn More: You should visit the following page for more information about Facebook security and how to report suspicious material in the future: http://www.facebook.com/security

i had experienced that also. facebook had suspended my account for three weeks. emailing facebook doesnt do the work because they have protocols for sanctioning account users of facebook who tends to "abuse" their accounts. all we goota do is to wait for them to lift your account sanction.

Either your account has been suspended due to a violation of policies or is hacked. If your account is disabled by Facebook, you will see the message after trying to log in. If you do not see that your account is hacked. May be using a fake page (Phishing). You can mail to Facebook and ask for help. Especially if you faced security issues.
If you feel that your account has been compromised, use this link to report.
If you have Violated (or not Violated intensionally) the Policies, please use this link to report.
Security Best Practices with Facebook:
Change your mail password. Never save passwords in browsers. Always clear Browser cache and Temporary internet files. Use this link to log in to Facebook. Bookmark it. Look for the padlock. Use Firefox of IE8. Always check the address bar to verify the link. Use a strong Anti Virus solution to protect you from Phishing. Such as Bitdefender. Never use login links in your Mail Box. Facebook never send Login Pages to inbox. Check for other Facebook links as well (check the Status bar at the bottom of your Browser to know the actual Address) Never use shortened links (like http:\bt.ly etc) Use Facebook notifications and Inbox rather than using your Mail Inbox. Do not use Unknown applications in Facebook. There are many Phishing Trojans. Keep your PC free of Viruses.
Follow the steps to avoid any difficulties such as Security threats.
There is an action limitation in FB. Do not over use any feature within 60 seconds. You will get warned. If you exceed the action 100 times your account will be suspended or deactivated.
Hope this would help. Please rate the answer if this solution helped you!
