I have purchased a Virgin VM800 for my daughter and have the unlock codes but when I put another network sim in the phone it is asking for the Provider Service Key. Do you know what this is or how I can rectify it?

You must have sim card from network the phone is locked to. This is essential! Without the sim card you can not access phone menu and type the unlock code.
Once they send you the code its simply inputting the code they provide. However to do this you must first put in a different carriers sim or non Virgin Sim in your case. Luckily I had a foreign sim that I saved on a prior trip as I have other unlocked phones and this worked for me. Ask your friends if they have a Sim other than Virgin. If so try theirs. Once a compatible Sim of a different carrier is inputed in your phone It will ask for the unlock code. Then you can input the code you was provided.
Also alot of cell phone stores and kiosks will also unlock any cell phone for you for about $30.00. You may have to leave the phone with them and pick it up later like an hour or two later if they are busy.
