Mine has done the same thing.

To fix this you have to reinstall the software, then reboot your computer.

I did that, and the printer alignment function worked fine for a while, then I started getting the same problem again, possibly after I had installed other software not related to the printer -- I don't really know.

In any event, it's doing the same thing again, so I just "cancel" the alignment and continue to use the printer. My prints are fine.

Very simple cartridge. Check the chip on the bottom to be sure that nothing is on the contacts. Try installing the old cart and see what happens. Fortunately, these are not very expensive. Install the old one, unless you ran it until it locked the printer out.

Technically speaking, it is possible to install on your system. But, you need to check the driver that come with the printer. If they provide windows 98 driver, then there should be no problem.

Is the Vista is 64 Bit? since it require Digitally Signed drivers for install any device.

Hey guy don't follow thier suggestion. No one can't do anything for u r problem because Your H.P. inkjet Printer 3210 doesn't work with Vista. I am also faced same problem. It is technical problem. Just change your vista or Printer
