Well does doing the intel reset work; hold power for 10 full seconds and release cured? next drop that nasty old huge battery off the bottom of PC remove ac power pack. for 15minutes then put back only AC power pack and hold power button for 10 full seconds and RELEASE IT. WORKS OK NOW? lots more but I stop here for evidence from you.

2009 PCs have CCFL back lamps not LED and go dead at 20,000 hours or even 5 years old. dead. as a dead mackerel. this is a CCFL cusp year I do see some are LED 2009. but no full model told by you vast sub models there are, 222US is USA. not told you. yours./
Solution based in assumption that the laptop is connected to the internet > Go to run type cmd > In the dos window type "ping www.google.com" > look for packets sent and recieved > If packets recieved is 4 then try a different browser > If packets recieved is 0 then you are not connected to the internet
You can always download Manycam and install it. Go towww.google.com and in the search box type: "download.cnet.com"(without the quotes). Click on the link to go to the site. When thesite opens look down on the left and you will see a gray area that says FindSoftware. Type "Manycam" (without the quotes) in the whitesearch area then hit the search mirror. When it brings back your resultslook for the one that says ManyCam Virtual Webcam. Down load it andinstall it. Make sure you remove the check box on any junky programs itwould like to install. You only want to install ManyCam, no additionswhatsoever during the install. ManyCam is totally FREE and easy to use,and you will always know where your webcam software is.
