if you can find a motor oil leak while in the wave runner
rear engine seal / oil filter seal /rocker covers front cover seals
lift the motor out and replace all the engine seals and gaskets


unseen internals
hardened valve stem seals /burning oil through rings

There are three different seal sizes 90mm shaft, 92mm shaft and 94.5mm shaft. Make sure you have the right seal for your crankshaft.

1995 Tracker would have a timing BELT. Normal oil leak points (in order) on a Suzuki G16 engine are the distributor base (rear of motor), valve cover (top of motor), front main seal (behind lower timing belt cog) cam seal (behind the upper timing belt cog) and rear main seal. (behind the flywheel). I'd suspect the front main seal or cam seal. I use foot power to help find oil leaks.

it is your rear main seal (crank seal)

1. Are you losing oil? Have you been told this seal is leaking? This seal is located between the engine and transmission connection. This seal will be soaken wet with oil if failing. Your motor is probably the GM 3800 V-6...this motor is not known for excessive rear seal problems. Hope this helps.

Could be a couple of possibilities that you'll have to get into looking for. Rear oil pan seal, rear main seal or occasionally rear intake seal will leak down back side of engine. Wipe down motor or spray w/brake clean and watch for leak.

Just a little advise before you jump to thinking the rear main seal is leaking. The vast majority of the oil leaks from these 2.8L motors are the rear intake manifold seal and the distributor o-ring. I would check them first. The rear main seal is in the lower rear of the motor, you have to remove the transmission to replace ti.

It is most likely the front seal on the Tranny, or a leaking tranny pan gasket.

It could be the rear main seal on the transmission where it mates to the motor. The motor may be burning off the leaking fluid before you can spot the leak. It could also be leaking out of the shaft seal as well, but you should be able to see tranny fluid all over the underside of the back of your car. You should be able to see it if its leaking from the rear main too, but like I said the motor could be burning it off before you spot it.

How much tranny fluid per week are we talking about? The rear main seal would require you to pull the tranny and then you pop the seal in, not too hard of a job unless you have a transfer case. Doing it in your driveway is not feasable tho because a tranny weighs a lot and I do not think you want to balance it on your chest in your driveway.
