Trying to copy photos onto color copier transfer paper paper melts. can I change the temp setting or anything to get it to print?

Yes, your fuser is the machine's oven. It does have a transparency/ OHP (overhead projector) setting.

When you shut the paper tray, the machine should ask you to confirm paper size and type. That's the time to do it.

How to load 4X6 photo paper

hi

  • Turn on the Epson 875DC and the attached computer. Make sure the cable between the two devices is securely in place.
  • Step 2 Remove any paper that is in the printer's feeder tray. Place the 4x6 photo paper printable side up in the tray, with the support sheet at the bottom of the stack of photo paper. Adjust the paper guides so they are pressed against the margins of the paper.
  • Step 3 Open the photos to be printed in your computer software program of choice. When you are ready to print the photos, click on the "File" link at the top of the window, then choose "Print." Click on "Properties" and select "4x6" for the paper size and "Photo Paper" under the paper type. Click "OK" to close the "Properties" window, then click "OK" again to print the photos.

My HP C7200 printer won't print from the photo tray

If you using a mac: After choosing the Photosmart C7200 to print your file on the print preview, change PAPER SIZE to 4x6, then lower down, change from PREVIEW to PAPER TYPE/QUALITY, more options will open underneath, on SOURCE, change from MAIN TRAY to PHOTO TRAY. You should also change the PAPER TYPE to some kind of PHOTO PAPER (whichever one your using, but the standard seems to be HP ADVANCED PHOTO PAPER)

My HP Deskjet F2100 All-in-one printer/scanner will not print a photo which is only post card size at less than A4 size when I use photo paper. It prints the correct size when I use plain paper.

just leave your paper type as Plain Paper,
and if your printing out a 5R size photo or photo sizes not exceed on Letter size paper, just leave the paper sizes using Letter,
print on both sides set as OFF.
then just customize the printing quality for a good printing result.
then load or place your photo paper properly on the paper tray to avoid jam.

My kodak easyshare5300 is printing black picture

    Hi-

If your product is still within the warranty period from KOdak then you can call them up for some step by step troubleshooting to help you with your problem and as well they can replace the printer if defective.

    Try this first

Calibrate your printer, then print a demo sheet.
    1. If paper is in the photo paper tray, remove it.
    2. Load photo paper into the photo tray.
      1. Fan the paper to keep the sheets from sticking together. IMPORTANT: Do not overload the photo tray.
      2. Load a maximum of 20 sheets into the photo tray, with the Kodak logo facing up.
      3. Engage the photo tray by pushing it in until it stops. p289_0006aa.jpg
    3. Calibrate your printer.
      1. Press Menu.
      2. Select Calibrate Printer, then press Start.
      3. Wait for your printer to print the calibration sheet.
      4. Place the calibration sheet face down on the scanner glass.
        • For the 5300 AiO printer, place the sheet on the front right corner of the scanner glass.
        • For the 5500 AiO printer, place the sheet on the left rear corner of the scanner glass.
      5. Press Start.
      6. Wait until "Calibration complete. Remove calibration page from scanner glass. Press OK to continue." appears on the LCD display.
      7. Remove the calibration sheet from the scanner glass, then press OK.
    4. Print a demo sheet.
      1. Disengage the photo tray by sliding it towards you until it stops. When the photo tray is disengaged, the main tray is active.
      2. Select Print Demo Page, then press Start.
      3. Wait for the demo sheet to print.

Then call them if issue Persist at these numbers:

Printing onto photo paper from mac g4 computer

I put the 4x6 in the bottom cassette. I place it with the shiny side down. Landscape is when the 6" length is front to back in the tray.

I use the cassette exclusively for 4x6 and use the back tray for all else. It works great.

HP Photosmart D7360-Won't print from photo tray

You have to push in the photo tray~. Push until you hear it click...then it will print from the print tray and in turn, you will be able to print photos unto your glossy photo paper instead of the letter size paper.
