Icemaker is not working - Kenmore Refrigerators

Pour about 2/3 cup of water into the icemaker . If those cubes freeze and dumps but water does not go into the icemaker , replace the water valve behind the refrig ( piece the water line connects to ) . If it does not dump the cubes , replace the icemaker . Also , check the fill tube ( tube which fills the icemaker ) to make sure it is not frozen up . If so , the water valve is seeping and still needs to be replaced . Check the coils under the refrig for dust , lint , pet hair , etc. The coils have to be clean for the icemaker to be 5 degrees , and work properly .
