I have a kirby G7D model ultimate g, the diamond edition. i took the brush part off , and used the attachments, i put the brush back on, and now it wont turn on.

The green light is just to inform you that the brushroll is spinning. there is a magnet on the brushroll that makes the green light come on every time it rotates. also why it looks like the light flickers because the magnet only makes contact once per rotation of your brushroll. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I believe you called me after posting this question but for all other folks that may come across I'll repeat - ANY of following Kirby model shampooers will work - G3; G4; G5; G6; Ultimate G, Ultimate G diamond edition and Sentria.
Wow... this is not OK price.. this is fantastic deal. I buy those in lots and I pay more per unit than that... I am sure - nobody will beat our online manual price as it is FREE . Click HERE to see it. As far as shampoo system - if you spend enough time you may be able to find one cheaper than in our store so you choose what you want to do.
If you had a kirby that was 1990 or newer - it has not changed much. If you had one older - then you will love the power drive option on the Ultimate G and it has more power than models prior 1990

Kirby Ultimate Diamond Edition You can cal the Kirby factory to request a new owner’s manual and they will describe how to use the vacuum on hardwood floors. There is a felt piece as wide as the brushroll area that will clip on to the bottom of the revolving brush area so that you hard wood floors don’t get scratched. The Kirby head will dial off and the Kirby head will come off and the attachment hose will connect to the front of the Kirby and that is how you use the attachments.
