Get a small pin and next to the cd/dvd rom drive there is a hole. insert pin in there and cd tray will open up, take out cd and close cd tray

You can uses the button on the CD drive to eject the CD. If that doesn't work you can also right click the CD drive icon from "My Computer" and select "eject".

Normally the studio laptops have soft eject for the CD and they dont have a button.. Press and hold the Fn key and then press the F10 key to eject the cd.. Another way is get into computer.. Right click on the DVD/cd rom drive and click on eject... This will work....

Can't eject CD from Dell Studio 15
If you look at the front of the CD drawer you will see a little hole which will take a strong paper clip when it is straightened out.

Push the paper clip into that hole press firmly and the drawer will release so that you can get your disc out

Disc won't eject, eject button won't light up, in fact none of the media control buttons will light up - except for "launch Dell Media Direct" button which is lite, and won't turn off. Its a Studio model,...
You can eject your cd drive by inserting a needle (saftey pin, sewing, etc.) into the pin hole near the eject button.
You can also try opening my computer and right clicking the cd drive and select eject.

Ejecting cd dell studio 17
Supposing that the Studio 15 / 17 has a slot loading drive:

You can either press the eject button above the keyboard (the touch sensitive one)

or

Go to 'Computer' in Vista and right click the CD/DVD drive. Then click 'Eject'.

This should work.
