The tel...dont want to work and the the window is black but the buttons light up

Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine size . Under system click on body & accessories ,then under subsystem click on power windows . Click the search button ,then blue link.
Check for broken wire's inside the flex connection from body to door .

First I need to find out if the password you are referring to is the Bios password or a Windows password.
If when you turn on your laptop you get a black screen and then the password prompt, This is Bios password.
Or if you see loading windows, Then the password prompt, This windows password.
If you can tel me this I may be able to help you.

Do you mean that you want to toggle the unit to TEL or TAD Mode? When there is no document in the feeder, press the Resolution/Reception Mode button to toggle between the FAX, TEL and TAD modes. The Resolution/Reception button is at the top of the row of buttons to the right of the number pad. There is an arrow that will point to the current setting in the LCD window. (It points up for the TEL and FAX modes.) The TAD mode is only accessible if you have set the out-going message. (If there is no out-going message, you toggle between FAX and TEL.)

check all the fuses and replace any that are blown. also check beattery wires and make sure the positive wires are not touching anything metal.look for burnt marks or black spots on the wires too. also have the battery fuse/relay checked.

Press the Mode button that has TEL/FAX , TEL , FAX. Press the button until the light beside the FAX mode is lit up. That is it! Should pick up on its own. Hope this worked for you!

OPEN UP THE MACHINE, TRACE WIRE ASSEMIBLY UNPLUG AND RE CONNECT THE CONNECTION IF YOU CAN BE VERY CAREFULLLY WITH CONNECTION YOU CAN BEND THEM OR BRAKE THEM OFF

LOOK FOR A RESET BUTTON, LITTLE HOLE WITH A COLOR DOT PUSH AND RELEASE IT RESTART MACHINE.
