My Samsung Jet only rings three times before going onto voicemail. Can't find how to set ot to ring longer. Thanks in advance

try going to settings and see if the adjustment is there

Remove the battery and allow the set to phone to reset. Now check for the ringer setting at teh back of the base phone to be set to the maximum rings, there can be three settings.
Some times this is also set on the menu.
Connect and test the timing to confirm

I also have Nokia 5800 XM. From my own experience, the time from the beginning of incoming call until voice mail is provider setting so we can't change it manually. I think you can just increase your ringing tones so you can notice every incoming call faster.

You need to call your service poviders customer service..they can do that for you...its not a phone fnction...its a system setting

If this is an option for your phone which usually isn't for most cells. Is to go to voicemail options and set ring time

Your voicemail thinks that it is ringing six times. The time that it takes to transfer to the extensions counts. Whiloe it seems that there is a lapse the system actually is using enough time to ring six times total. If you need longer ring time at the extension, take in account the transfer time and set it to pick up after 8 or 9 rings. It will actually only ring six. You just have to trick the system a little.

go to your tone setting and then you wil see it says sumthing about ringing once, assending ect, change that to assending!

You cannot make the ring longer from the phone. You must call AT&T and have them changed on their side.

hello you need to go into your settings then click on divert, it will say your settings are on divert:if unavailable thats why your phone call cuts off if you havent answerd it in a certain amount of time. So just turn divert off completely and your fone will ring longer
