35 to 40 degrees for the refrigerator, - (minus) 10 to 15 degrees for the freezer, this is in Fahrenheit.

You asked "what is the best temperature for my sharp refrigerator" not what settings should I use on the dial. usually the center position is the best place to start on the dial, for both the fridge and the freezer. You can buy a thermometer (buy two) and put the in the freezer and fridge and after 12 hours check the reading and adjust the dials accordingly to get the best temp. a higher number on the dials is colder

Is the temperature "N" the coldest or "+ "the coldest?

N stands for normal. Usually normal is midrange while + is either colder (for more refrigeration) or warmer (for higher temperature). Check the end of the scale for the word , coldest. There will typically be arrows pointing toward colder/est as well. Best would be to move the dial just one (hopefully an) increment and come back 24 hours later and check for a decrease on the thermometer (yours or the reefers built-in one). If it moves the wrong way (assuming constant ambient temperature) try dialing the other direction. .

How do I get my new Samsung RF220 to be cooler in the refrigerator section? The temperature does not go below 52degrees F. It is set at the coldest setting.

Check for deformed rubber boot that runs entirely around edge of fridge door allowing cold air in fridge to leak out. 2nd possibility: Louvers in wall between freezer and fridge may be stuck in mostly closed position. Force them GENTLY to open. That will allow the cold air to pass normally from the freezer to the fridge to give you proper fridge temps. If these two easy cures don't work, here's hoping that Samsung owes you in-warranty service and parts on your "new" unit.

What is the best temperature to keep the refrigerator ( Hotpoint)

http://www.hotpointservice.co.uk/hs/pages/content.do?keys=FAQ:SIY_RFFRIDGETEMP
What should a Hotpoint fridge temperature be?

Your Hotpoint fridge is designed to operate at a temperature ranging from 0.5 degrees in the coldest part up to 5 degrees inthe warmest part.

As warm air rises and cold air falls it is safe to say that the best way to store your food is to place it in the most appropriate shelf compartment, as shown in the diagram below.

Freezing problem

You don't want minimum temperatures if food is getting frozen. The less the temperature is, the colder it will be. If food is getting frozen, increase the temperature. Usually there is a dial in refrigerators, for example, with the numbers 1-7, 1 will be coldest and 7 will be warmest.

What is the coldest setting on an old zanussi fridge freezer 1 or 6

hi there......the coldest setting on your fridge is 6

the normal accepted working temperature of a domestic fridge is usually between 0 and 8 degrees........the numerals on your thermostat are not temerature settings ...but a guide to coldness setting....the actual temerature must be checked with a reliable thermometer...usually best done in the morning after the fridge has ran throiugh the night without the door being opened.....
